Welcome to GOOSEBUMPS GOLD!
Goosebumps is a series from the mind of acclaimed author, R.L. Stine.
The idea for the series was suggested by Joan Waricha of Parachute Press, who told Stine that younger kids might like
to be scared, too, since R.L. Stine's other series: FEAR STREET, had become the most popular and best-selling book series
of young adults. After finding the series' title in an ad in TV Guide, Stine soon wrote the first book - WELCOME TO DEAD HOUSE
- and there were originally going to be five more.
However, the series had sparked a bigger interest than originally thought, and soon,
Stine was writing a new book each month. Three years after this, a Goosebumps TV Series was in the works. The first of the
books to be adapted - THE HAUNTED MASK - aired on 10/27/1995. The series ran for four, wonderful seasons, and fans of the
series today still have yet to see the complete series released on DVD.
Our wonderful little website, GB Gold, focuses on all the different aspects of the
series in a detailed way. With a book guide, an episode guide, and much more, the site has many projects in the works to be
released in the near future, and both webmasters would like to thank all of our visitors, and hope that you will come again!
